An earlier article — Does Your Congregation Genuinely Want to Reach Young Adult Families with Children? (https://georgebullard.medium.com/does-your-congregation-genuinely-want-to-reach-young-adult-families-with-children-ff416b7ce977) — shared 12 not so genuine reasons congregations seek to reach young adult families. What if we changed the former list into 12 reasons that are genuine, helpful, and potentially fruitful?

Here is an attempt. Your comments are welcome. May these represent for your congregation a way forward.

First, you want to reach young adult families because they are of immense value, and you wish to bless them with the joys of the Christian life in your congregation. They are persons of worth created in the image of God to live and to love. They deserve a Christ-centered congregational family who cares about them with great passion.

Second, you want to reach young adult families because your congregation is healthy, robust, and inviting, and you believe you have much to offer. Your congregation has much to offer both parents and the children. You want to bless their life and spiritual stage needs in a high quality Christian community. The love of Jesus compels you.
